Gigamon unveils Gigamon Insights, delivering AI-driven guidance for IT operations and security teams.

Gigamon unveiled Gigamon Insights, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) application that integrates with AWS, Elastic, and Splunk, aimed at improving threat detection and troubleshooting for Security, IT, and NetOps teams. The application is designed to provide instant, actionable insights using network-derived telemetry.

Launching with capabilities in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and observability platforms, Gigamon Insights accelerates investigations by enabling analysts to query trusted metadata without manual data analysis. This efficiency allows teams to reduce mean time to resolution and focus on higher-value tasks.

As organizations increasingly face AI-driven cyber threats, Gigamon Insights offers a response by enhancing visibility and threat detection. Over half of surveyed security and IT leaders reported an increase in attacks targeting their infrastructure. “AI continues to raise the stakes for Security and IT teams,” said Sarah Banks, vice president of product management at Gigamon. The platform enhances detection and compliance capabilities across hybrid cloud environments.

Built on the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, the application supports a flexible AI architecture that can incorporate custom or private models. This architecture ensures data privacy while allowing deep investigations and analysis. Analysts can use either pre-defined prompts or create custom queries, fostering rapid incident response and guided troubleshooting.

As enterprises adopt AI-driven architectures, the foundational value of network-derived telemetry remains central. “By pairing network-derived telemetry with generative and agentic AI, enterprises can accelerate time to insight,” said Alan Weckel, co-founder of 650 Group.

Gigamon Insights offers immediate benefits, including reduced investigation times, improved detection of lateral movement and compliance gaps, and maintained visibility across hybrid cloud infrastructures. The capabilities position Gigamon to assist organizations in navigating increasing complexities in cybersecurity.

Gigamon plans to preview Gigamon Insights at the Visualyze Bootcamp on September 9-11, 2025. General Availability (GA) is set for the fourth quarter of 2025, with further partner integrations to follow.
