FiberHome presents optical and AI technologies at MWC 2026
FiberHome presented a set of optical, network and AI-capable solutions at MWC 2026 in Barcelona under the theme “Connecting the Bright Intelligent Future,” and it demonstrated its technologies and global delivery capabilities.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating the rearchitecture of data centers and introducing new optical interconnection requirements across scale, density, distance and speed, and FiberHome identified three pain points: space constraints, thermal management bottlenecks and slow deployment efficiency.
To address those challenges, FiberHome introduced an all-scenario optical interconnect component solution that covered the chain from chips and cabinets to data centers; the company reported a 70% improvement in deployment efficiency for intra- and inter-cabinet scale-up/out expansion. It also described ultra-low-loss fiber that extended transmission distance by 50% to 100% and a hollow-core fiber that reduced latency by 30% while keeping optical loss below 0.1 dB/km, and it presented phase-change and immersion liquid cooling solutions that achieved over 50% reduction in energy consumption in deployments in Shanghai and Changsha.
FiberHome outlined full-scenario intelligent networks spanning wireless technologies, V-PON and smart marine networks and said these were designed to support the Edge Resource Allocator (ERA) of AI intelligent computing. The company launched a new generation of compact high-efficiency antennas with smaller size, lower wind load and lighter weight, delivered an automotive-grade end-to-end in-vehicle optical solution developed with full-stack in-house Research and Development (R&D), and described a transoceanic submarine cable system that supports 10,000 km transmission with 26 Tbps single-fiber capacity while participating in the deployment of a seven-core MCF submarine cable.
FiberHome said it will continue AI-ICT integration and collaborate with global partners to build an efficient and intelligent future.
