BlueVoyant expands operations in Japan through partnership with Marubeni I-DIGIO
BlueVoyant, a cybersecurity company recognized as the 2024 Microsoft Worldwide Security Partner of the Year, has expanded its operations into Japan. The firm aims to enhance the country's cybersecurity posture by increasing its local team and investments. BlueVoyant has entered into a reseller agreement with Marubeni I-DIGIO Group, a subsidiary of Marubeni, a major trading company in Japan.
Since 2019, BlueVoyant has engaged with Japanese clients and plans to bolster its core team in Japan to support these clients and local partners. The decision to invest in Japan and the broader Asia Pacific region addresses various cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations there.
Taiki Uchida leads the expansion efforts as Country Manager. Uchida has a substantial background in the IT and security sectors, contributing to the introduction of several foreign security solutions in Japan, such as SonicWall and FireEye.
BlueVoyant's Cyber Defense Platform offers a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity by enabling clients to detect, investigate, and mitigate threats from multiple sources, including third-party vendors.
