Concentric AI launches User Behavior Data Analytics to enhance sensitive data monitoring

Concentric Artificial Intelligence (AI) announced the launch of User Behavior Data Analytics (UBDA) within its Semantic Intelligence platform, aiming to enhance data security governance. The UBDA feature allows organizations to identify unusual user activity related to sensitive data, enabling preemptive risk management. The platform now integrates with Google Cloud Storage, Azure Data Lake, and ServiceNow, which broadens access to Concentric AI's data security solutions across various environments. By leveraging this functionality, organizations can monitor risky behaviors, such as excessive downloads or inappropriate data sharing. Karthik Krishnan, Founder and CEO of Concentric AI, stated that the UBDA feature enhances the platform’s value by providing precise tracking of user activity concerning critical data. He emphasized the ongoing investment in the integration ecosystem to bolster data discovery, classification, monitoring, and remediation processes across numerous data repositories. The Semantic Intelligence framework utilizes advanced AI to detect anomalies in user behavior, analyzing the context of data access without relying on heavy rule configurations or agents. This approach increases accuracy and effectiveness in identifying sensitive data categories, aiding in the prevention of potential data breaches. Concentric AI’s new capabilities are currently available within the Semantic Intelligence platform, providing users with greater insights into data access and risk management. Companies can utilize this information to develop stringent data access policies, thereby reducing the likelihood of sensitive data exposure.
