Tech Mahindra and AMD formed a multi-year agreement aimed at enhancing enterprise transformation through advanced infrastructure and Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption. This collaboration focuses on industries such as manufacturing, finance, telecommunications, and healthcare, promoting the use of AI-driven infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Tech Mahindra will integrate AMD's compute engines with its Cloud BlazeTech solution to facilitate AI adoption across enterprise workloads. The partnership seeks to develop solutions that optimize workloads across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

Mohit Joshi, CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra, said that enterprises are striving to maximize ROI while managing hybrid cloud ecosystems. The strategic alliance with AMD will help deliver hyper-scalable solutions. AMD's Chair and CEO, Lisa Su, added that the collaboration will enable enterprises to enhance their cloud transformation and AI adoption.

ROC, a provider of American-made multimodal biometrics, announced its latest face recognition algorithm achieved high marks in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRTE), establishing ROC as the leading Western vendor for identity verification. Brendan Klare, Chief Scientist at ROC, stated this performance reflects over a decade of Research and Development (R&D) in facial recognition technology.

ROC's benchmark performance included top rankings for investigative search and visa-border verification capabilities. Keyur Patel, Director of Machine Learning (ML) at ROC, said the success reinforces ROC's position in biometrics and is a testament to their development process and expertise in facial recognition.

Netskope addressed the resurgence of Lumma Stealer variants by implementing AI-based detection methods. The article discusses how Netskope employs a layered threat protection strategy that integrates AI and ML to identify malware. Their approach, which includes both inline scans and deep analysis through a cloud sandbox, enables effective detection of sophisticated threats.

The recent revival of Lumma Stealer necessitated updated awareness and protection measures across various sectors. Netskope's solution emphasizes advanced detection techniques to monitor and mitigate malware risks effectively.

CISA issued an advisory regarding Industrial Control Systems (ICS), highlighting security vulnerabilities of systems active in various sectors. The advisory serves to inform users about emerging security issues, particularly regarding the Dingtian DT-R002 relay board, which faces credential vulnerabilities. Users are encouraged to enhance network security.

Lastly, Software Testing Lifecycle (STL) and Netomnia renewed their partnership to advance Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solutions in the UK. With a target of connecting five million premises by 2027, this collaboration supports the rollout of a full-fibre network, improving connectivity for a growing customer base.
