Cyble launches support package for ACSC Essential 8 in Australia
Cyble, a global cybersecurity solution provider, launched a support package to assist Australian financial services organizations in implementing the ACSC Essential 8 controls. Targeted at fintechs and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), the initiative seeks to minimize the cost and complexity associated with cybersecurity measures.
The ACSC Essential 8, endorsed by APRA, provides key strategies for managing cyber risks. Cyble's support package enhances cyber resilience and addresses common barriers smaller firms face. It offers tailored solutions that focus on Endpoint Security and supports organizations as they navigate regulatory requirements.
“At Cyble, we have made a strategic commitment to the Australian market,” said Beenu Arora, CEO and Co-Founder of Cyble. He emphasized the company's investment in cybersecurity solutions designed for the needs of Australian fintechs and SMBs amid evolving threats.
The Cyble Essential 8 Support Package directly addresses each of the eight controls, incorporating features such as real-time vulnerability scans, attack surface management, and Multifactor Authentication (MFA) guidance. This approach aims to facilitate the identification and mitigation of cyber risks.
Dipesh Ranjan, SVP at Cyble, added, “Our Essential 8 Support Package reflects substantial investment in the Australian market, enabling organizations to access enterprise-grade security aligned with APRA's standards.”
The components of the support package leverage Cyble's threat intelligence and digital risk monitoring capabilities, ensuring proactive management of cyber risks.
Through this initiative, Cyble reiterates its commitment to enhancing the cyber resilience of Australia’s financial sector while balancing security needs and affordability.
