Cohere and Carahsoft Partner to Distribute North to Government Agencies

Cohere and Carahsoft set out to expand access to Cohere’s secure, sovereign AI platform for U.S. government agencies. The partnership centers on distribution through Carahsoft’s public sector contract vehicles, using Cohere’s North platform and agentic AI approach to support deployment needs involving security and data control.

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as a Public Sector distributor for Cohere. Cohere’s stated focus included secure deployment options for agencies through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and through specific contracts listed in the release.

Cohere described its North offering as an end-to-end agentic solutions platform provided through “Second Front Systems.” The company said the platform supports multimodal and multilingual AI models in fully air-gapped, on-premise environments with zero data egress. It also cited an environment-agnostic deployment architecture intended to support operations across infrastructure types, from hybrid cloud to on-premise data centers in classified environments and use at the tactical edge.

The release tied availability to Carahsoft contract vehicles including SEWP V contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B, ITES-SW2 Contract W52P1J-20-D-0042, NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement #AR2472, TIPS Contract #220105, and OMNIA Partners Contract #R240303. Cohere’s Dave Ferris said, “By partnering with Carahsoft, we are expanding Government agencies’ access to a secure, enterprise-ready AI platform,” and Carahsoft’s Michael Adams said, “Carahsoft is pleased to partner with Cohere to bring its innovative AI solutions to Government agencies,” and both referenced security, compliance, and operational control. Forward-looking statements were not included in the release.
