SnippetSentry and Carahsoft entered a partnership to make SnippetSentry’s mobile communications capture platform available to public sector organizations through Carahsoft reseller channels and multiple contract vehicles.

The agreement centered on providing access to a platform that captures SMS, iMessage, Signal, and WhatsApp communications, then delivers them to an agency’s existing archiving and recordkeeping systems for retention requirements tied to FOIA and state public records laws.

SnippetSentry uses mobile communications capture and integrates mobile communications into existing information governance workflows. The platform is designed to support operational and records management needs while minimizing disruption to how employees work, and it is SOC 2 Type II certified.

Under the deal, Carahsoft will serve as SnippetSentry’s Master Government Aggregator, with availability through Carahsoft’s reseller partners via SEWP V, TIPS, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services, and The Quilt contracts. The SnippetSentry offering is listed under SEWP V contract numbers NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B, TIPS Contract #220105, OMNIA Partners Contract #R240303, E&I Contract #EI00063~2021MA, and The Quilt Master Service Agreement Number MSA05012019-F.
