Cloudflare Launches Cloudflare for AI, A Suite to Enhance Security and Control Over AI Applications

Cloudflare has launched a new suite named Cloudflare for Artificial Intelligence (AI), aimed at improving visibility, security, and control over AI applications. This offering is designed to help organizations of all sizes protect against various threats confronting AI models, facilitating safe deployment and usage.

In a context where AI is increasingly integrated into business operations, organizations face new risks as cybercriminals target these technologies. Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare, emphasized the necessity of balancing rapid AI implementation with security measures. He stated, “The adage ‘move fast, break things’ has become the mantra as organizations race to implement new models... But there is often a missing link between experimentation and safety.”

Cloudflare for AI equips organizations with tools to identify all AI applications in use, manage employee interactions with these models, and prevent the leaking of sensitive information. Furthermore, the suite includes features that can detect harmful prompts submitted to AI models, helping maintain their integrity.

Among the capabilities offered, organizations can monitor and manage how AI is utilized across their networks, preventing unauthorized or harmful interactions that could lead to data breaches. Cloudflare's offerings also aim to bolster the resilience of AI applications against attacks, ensuring operations remain uninterrupted.

Many companies leveraging AI technology depend on Cloudflare for secure operations. The entire suite of products under Cloudflare for AI is now generally available to customers.
