Cloudera introduces Workflow Data Fabric Zero Copy Connector for ServiceNow

Cloudera described the availability of a new integration for ServiceNow at ServiceNow’s Knowledge26 conference. The company said the Workflow Data Fabric Zero Copy Connector for ServiceNow was designed to connect hybrid data lakehouses with intelligent workflows for secure, real-time autonomous AI execution.

Cloudera framed the development around difficulties organizations face in accessing, integrating, and governing data across fragmented environments. It also said the connector supports security and governance controls while avoiding data duplication and other data movement steps.

According to Cloudera, the connector lets enterprises query data directly where it already lives, with governance and security standards in place. The company said it links AI-driven actions back to their source data without moving sensitive information, including PII, PHI, and PCI, in protected hybrid environments. It cited compliance with regulations including the EU AI Act, DORA, and HIPAA.

The companies described extending an existing partnership under ServiceNow joining Cloudera’s partner AI ecosystem in 2025. Cloudera said the integration enables secure, real-time autonomous AI execution without costly data duplication, and it described “closed-loop remediation” tied to the ServiceNow AI Platform.

“Enterprises cannot scale autonomous AI without being able to prove why decisions are made,” said Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera. “Without this traceability, organizations cannot safely deploy AI agents or meet regulatory demands. This is especially critical for Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Data Officers, and Chief AI Officers, who carry the risk, security, and compliance burden as AI moves from pilot to production-scale operations.”
