Citrix expands partnership with Google to integrate Chrome Enterprise Premium

Citrix has expanded its partnership with Google to integrate Google Chrome Enterprise Premium into its platform. This integration aims to improve secure enterprise browsing by offering a streamlined solution for accessing web applications.

The collaboration allows Citrix customers to utilize Chrome Enterprise for easy access to private and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, helping to both reduce costs and enhance security through features such as malware detection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

Additionally, Citrix and Google plan to develop a joint roadmap that will bring Citrix's Secure Private Access to Chrome Enterprise, offering businesses enhanced capabilities for managing access and protecting data. Key features include advanced malware protection, centralized management, and VPN-less access to applications.

Sridhar Mullapudi, co-president at Citrix, emphasized the commitment to delivering value for customers through the partnership, stating, “By integrating the Secure Private Access features...with Google Chrome Enterprise Premium’s exceptional browser capabilities, we are elevating the standard for secure enterprise browsing.” Adrienne McCallister, VP of Global Partnerships for Chrome, noted that this collaboration aims to enhance security for joint customers.
