ChemTreat launches CTSolutions® D2C for direct-to-chip cooling systems
Integrated water treatment and system readiness platform addresses risk, reliability, and efficiency in next-generation infrastructure.
ChemTreat, Inc., a Veralto company and provider of industrial water treatment solutions, launched CTSolutions® Device-to-Cloud Pipeline (D2C). This program is designed for direct-to-chip (D2C) liquid cooling systems in high-density data centers.
The introduction of CTSolutions® D2C aligns with global data center development, particularly driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High performance computing (HPC). These advancements necessitate enhanced cooling systems capable of managing increased demands for fluid reliability and control.
ChemTreat emphasizes that D2C cooling is essential for maintaining thermal performance and rack densities in evolving infrastructure. The CTSolutions® D2C program integrates water treatment technology, service, monitoring, and automation to support data centers in achieving operational efficiency and reliability.
“This launch is about readiness and risk reduction at scale,” said Jacob Paugh, Director of Commercial and Institutional Business at ChemTreat. He noted the importance of continuous monitoring and system cleanliness in D2C operations.
In contrast to traditional systems, D2C cooling operates under closed-loop conditions, necessitating precise control over water chemistry and particulate management to avoid issues like fouling and corrosion. Such challenges can lead to reduced system performance and increased maintenance needs.
CTSolutions® D2C incorporates advanced coolant technologies that enhance heat transfer efficiency and includes specialty biocides tailored for D2C applications. The program also features the CTVista®+ monitoring platform, which provides detailed insights into fluid chemistry and system performance.
Engineered for both new builds and hyperscale expansions, the program aligns cooling system design with operational success. Field teams work with design engineers to ensure system integrity before deployment.
ChemTreat's approach centers around sustainability, highlighting how its strategies enabled customers to save over 85 billion gallons of water in 2024.
“Our CTSolutions® D2C package is more than a product, it's a partnership,” Paugh added, emphasizing the integration of technology and expertise in supporting efficient Data Center Operations (DCO).
