Cequence Security Adds Rupal Shah Hollenbeck to Its Board

Cequence Security said Rupal Shah Hollenbeck, described as a former President of Check Point Software, joined its Board of Directors. The company said her board role will focus on advising growth strategy as it scales in the agentic AI era.

Cequence Security stated that it protects applications and data that support agentic enterprise workflows. The company also linked the board appointment to ongoing work around application, API, and agentic AI protection.

According to the company, Cequence delivers deep insight into user, entity, and agent behavior to secure, govern, and control agentic AI workflows while protecting against bad actors and rogue agents. It also stated that it provides value in minutes using a no-code approach, and that it has protected more than 10 billion daily API interactions and 4 billion user accounts.

Cequence Security said Hollenbeck brings more than 30 years of operating and board leadership in enterprise technology, including 4.5 years at Check Point Software with roles as President, Chief Commercial Officer, and Independent Director. Cequence also said she most recently served as Executive Chair of the board of LayerX Security, which it stated was acquired by Akamai Technologies, and that she held additional operating and board roles with Intel, Oracle, Cerebras Systems, and Blackbaud.
