Beyond Now has introduced the Wave AI Framework, designed to give communications service providers and technology companies the business context and access their AI agents need to act across the revenue lifecycle.
Adoption of agentic AI is accelerating, and creating agents is growing easier. The harder challenge is making agents operate across complex business and ecosystem environments, run workflows over multiple systems, and deliver measurable outcomes. For CSPs and technology companies, that requires business context on customers, products, pricing, and commercial rules, along with defined guardrails for access, permitted actions, and required human oversight.
The framework pairs Beyond Now's recently launched Agentic Revenue & Ecosystem Orchestration Platform with an open framework for activating, building, connecting, and orchestrating AI agents. Native role-based agents embedded in the platform can work alongside customer-built and third-party agents, drawing on shared business data, product catalogs, commercial rules, and revenue processes.
Four interconnected layers organize the framework. The Wave AI Interface lets users interact with the platform through a conversational, LLM-like experience from their interface of choice. The Wave AI Workforce comprises the native role-based agents, while the Wave AI Cockpit supplies a unified control plane for orchestration, governance, and observability, including reusable AI Skills, MCPs, and APIs. The Data Layer supplies the information and business context agents need to decide and act.
The framework is already being applied with customers and partners. Beyond Now integrated its Wave AI Framework with Microsoft AI Foundry, and Hrvatski Telekom is introducing AI across BSS, commerce, and sales as part of its wider AI-first strategy.
“The next step is giving agents the ability to act across real commercial processes and work with other agents safely and securely,” said Angus Ward, CEO of Beyond Now. The next wave of adoption will see agents operate across organizational boundaries, and Wave AI gives providers a way to support those interactions while retaining control over access, permissions, and commercial processes.
