AT&T provides connectivity for F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and FirstNet support

AT&T enhanced the experience of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix by providing critical connectivity for Oracle Red Bull Racing and First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) support for public safety communications. The event featured immersive experiences and merchandise designed for fans.

Throughout the Grand Prix weekend, AT&T powered Oracle Red Bull Racing's data operations, ensuring that real-time telemetry flowed from the track to the team's base in Milton Keynes. This connectivity is vital for the team's strategy and operational decisions as race conditions evolve rapidly.

“In Vegas, decisions happen in the blink of an eye. AT&T's connectivity keeps our engineers in the garage and back in Milton Keynes working as one,” said Laurent Mekies, team principal and CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing.

In addition to racing support, AT&T provided FirstNet resources to ensure uninterrupted communication for public safety during the event. FirstNet personnel, including the FirstNet Response Operations Group, facilitated coordination with local agencies to maintain safety protocols throughout the race.

AT&T also introduced “The Speed of Light,” a visual experience for fans at Sands Ave, designed to engage race enthusiasts while promoting interaction on social media. Limited-edition merchandise featuring Oracle Red Bull Racing was available at select venues along the Strip.

Additionally, AT&T partnered with TikTok to create an engaging atmosphere for fans through the TikTok Clubhouse, featuring interactions with creators and athletes to enhance the race weekend experience.

Overall, AT&T's focus on connectivity and public safety infrastructure during the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix illustrated its role in supporting both competitive racing and community well-being.
