Applied Digital Reaches Ready for Service for Building 2 Phase 1 at Polaris Forge 1
Applied Digital said it achieved Ready for Service for Phase 1 of Building 2 at Polaris Forge 1. The company delivered 75 MW of operational AI capacity on schedule, and total live capacity at the Polaris Forge 1 campus reached 175 MW.
The update continued the buildout of Polaris Forge 1, a fully leased AI Factory Campus designed for high-density artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads. Applied Digital said that at full build out, Polaris Forge 1 is contracted to deliver 400 MW of critical IT load under long-term lease agreements.
Applied Digital described an AI Factory franchise model that replicates a core design, construction, and operations team across each campus, supported by centralized expertise and dedicated site-level execution teams. The company also cited prior milestones at Polaris Forge 1, including on-time completion of the first 100 MW building.
Wes Cummins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Digital, said, “Delivering this phase on time underscores the strength of our execution model.” He added, “Polaris Forge 1 continues to demonstrate the depth of our team and the discipline it takes to bring critical AI infrastructure capacity online for our customers.” Applied Digital said Polaris Forge 1 is located in Ellendale, North Dakota, where it has operated since 2021.
