Versa recognized as Leader and Outperformer in GigaOm SD-WAN report for second year

Versa announced its Versa Secure Software-Defined Wide Area Network (WAN) (SD-WAN) received recognition as a Leader and Outperformer for the second consecutive year in the 2025 GigaOm Radar Report for Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Solutions. This report evaluated 31 SD-WAN solutions, categorizing vendors based on product performance across several criteria.

In addition to the SD-WAN report, Versa attained the same accolades in all three of GigaOm's recent Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) (SASE)-related reports. Earlier this year, Versa was noted for similar achievements in the GigaOm Radar Report for Security Service Edge (Security Services Edge (SSE)) and the GigaOm Radar Report for SASE.

The Versa Secure SD-WAN, a significant component of the VersaONE Universal SASE Platform, received five stars in several areas including Integrated Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Intent-based Networking, and support capabilities. Notably, it secured the highest score in the Business Criteria Comparison among all vendors listed in the report.

GigaOm recognized Versa for its multiple capabilities, including integrated security features like Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technology and microsegmentation across network infrastructures. The company’s ability to maintain high scores in critical report evaluations positioned it as both a Leader and an Outperformer.

Dan Maier, Versa’s Chief Marketing Officer, stated, “We are proud to continue to be recognized as an industry leader across the board in GigaOm’s three Radar reports related to SASE.” He remarked on the company's focus on building a fully integrated platform rather than relying on acquisitions or trends.

The GigaOm Radar report is available for further insights into Versa's offerings and performance metrics in the SD-WAN sector.
