Nozomi Networks' Vantage for Government secures "In Process" designation for FedRAMP Moderate Authorization
Nozomi Networks announced that its Vantage for Government platform received the “In Process” designation at the Moderate impact level under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This designation enhances the platform’s ability to manage Operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) cybersecurity challenges within large-scale government deployments, contributing to the defense of U.S. critical infrastructure.
Vantage for Government centralizes management across the continuous risk management lifecycle, integrating visibility, real-time asset monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability assessment. It includes security features to meet FedRAMP requirements. The enhancements aim to address the cybersecurity needs of federal agencies, where the compromise of data integrity and availability could have serious repercussions on operations.
Andrea Carcano, Nozomi Networks Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, stated that the timing of this designation comes as federal agencies face numerous cybersecurity threats, making effective monitoring and mitigation essential. The platform aims to allow government entities to better manage cyber risks associated with their OT and IoT environments.
Incorporating various functionalities, Vantage for Government offers asset inventory capabilities that combine AI-driven enrichment with passive and active data collection. It facilitates comprehensive visibility across multiple environments and integrates with third-party systems. Additionally, its Vulnerability Management System (VMS) prioritizes risks without obstructing operational activities by avoiding disruptions from traditional IT scanners.
This platform also supports a full lifecycle of risk management using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for continuous monitoring, scoring, and mitigation. Furthermore, it detects anomalies in network and endpoint activities, customizing alerts to minimize alert fatigue among security teams. Federal agencies may inquire about leveraging this platform as they navigate their cybersecurity landscape.
