Fujitsu expanded strategic collaboration with NVIDIA for AI infrastructure
Fujitsu expanded its collaboration with NVIDIA to develop integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure aimed at enhancing competitiveness in various industries. This partnership focuses on creating an AI agent platform and associated computing infrastructure that will serve sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics.
The collaboration will integrate the FUJITSU-MONAKA Central Processing Unit (CPU) series with NVIDIA GPUs via NVIDIA NVLink Fusion. This combined offering is expected to foster continuous learning and improvement of AI agents, setting the stage for self-evolving systems that surpass traditional computing limitations.
Takahito Tokita, CEO of Fujitsu, emphasized that the collaboration will support AI-driven transformations in enterprise and government sectors. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, noted the importance of building the necessary infrastructure to support the AI revolution globally. Both companies aim to enhance AI adoption, beginning in Japan, and contribute to a sustainable future.
Through this initiative, Fujitsu and NVIDIA seek to create a co-creation cycle that merges human judgment with advanced AI capabilities, addressing challenges such as labor shortages through robotics and stimulating innovation.
