Domo launches on AWS Asia-Pacific region to strengthen APAC presence

Domo announced its launch on the AWS Asia-Pacific Region, enhancing support for India-based organizations and ensuring compliance with data sovereignty regulations. This initiative aims to improve performance and reduce latency for both local and global customers operating in India.

As part of its global infrastructure strategy, Domo's expansion reflects a commitment to the APAC market and the growing demand for data services in India. The AWS Asia-Pacific Region will enable Domo to securely run workloads and store content within India, enhancing service efficiency.

“Our customers trust us to help them leverage one of their most valuable assets: their data,” said Daren Thayne, chief technology officer at Domo. The new data center supports businesses in the region by ensuring that data management aligns with local security and compliance requirements.

Naveen Kumar, Founder and CEO at GWC, noted that the investment in India showcases Domo's confidence in the APAC market's growth potential. With a new data center in Mumbai, clients can maintain security protocols while utilizing Domo's platform to enhance their data-driven decision-making processes.
