Deloitte invests over $1 billion in Ascend™ platform upgrades
Deloitte invested over $1 billion to enhance Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Ascend™ platform, an AI-infused delivery tool designed to integrate specialized agents and proprietary data into project workflows. This investment aims to improve client outcomes by accelerating service delivery while ensuring security and transparency.
Autonomous System (AS) part of the updates announced on November 3, 2025, Deloitte CEO Jason Salzetti stated that the enhancements would allow professionals a streamlined entry point to access the platform's diverse functionalities. Ascend is geared to support the evolving needs of clients in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by simplifying project execution and orchestration.
The platform provides a digital channel for clients, enabling easier access to services and tailored solutions. Ascend encapsulates the “Deloitte Way” of project delivery, enhancing flexibility and efficiency throughout the delivery lifecycle. Among ITS features, Ascend allows rapid use case development and employs a built-in security framework to address potential risks associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) deployments.
In collaboration with UiPath, Deloitte Hardware Attestation Service (HAS) further strengthened Ascend by introducing a testing management capability, which improves project outcomes in large-scale enterprise modernization efforts. This integration leverages both Deloitte's expertise and UiPath’s automation capabilities to reduce testing lifecycle efforts significantly.
