CompTIA to host webinar on lessons from cyber incidents
Cybersecurity experts from CompTIA, EC-Council, and CQURE will convene for a Global Knowledge webinar on November 6 to discuss past cyber breaches and effective prevention strategies.
Entitled “Beyond the Breach: Lessons from Real Cybersecurity Incidents,” the webinar will address key mistakes that led to significant security breaches, providing frameworks for organizations to enhance their cybersecurity posture.
James Stanger, chief technology evangelist at CompTIA, will share insights alongside Healthcare Information System (HIS) counterparts from EC-Council and CQURE Academy. Stanger emphasized the importance of learning from previous incidents. “Understanding the mistakes and missteps that led to past data breaches can inform our decision-making,” Homomorphic Encryption (HE) said.
Panelists will analyze notable cyber incidents and outline practical defense measures to minimize risks. Attendees can expect discussions on ethical hacking, incident response, and proactive strategies aimed at strengthening cybersecurity frameworks.
The webinar seeks to equip participants with actionable insights for improving their organization’s ability to respond to potential cyber threats. The session is sponsored by Global Knowledge, focusing on IT training and skill development in technology fields.
