Aviz Networks and WWT introduce AI network assistance for enterprise testing
Aviz Networks and World Wide Technology (WWT) have collaborated to introduce AI-based network assistance targeted at enterprise environments, focusing on practical and scalable deployment.
The partnership involves enabling joint customers, who use both companies’ services, to test AI-driven network solutions within WWT’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Proving Ground Lab prior to broad implementation.
WWT’s AI Proving Ground Lab facilitates real-world testing of AI-assisted network functions including troubleshooting, automation, and observability. It supports validation of AI features across multiple platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Spectrum-X, and the Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) ecosystem, while enabling integration with existing tools and knowledge bases.
The collaborative effort includes facilitating hands-on evaluation for enterprises exploring AI-driven network automation, aiming to provide practical validation opportunities to ensure operational readiness before full-scale rollout.
Thomas Scheibe, chief product officer at Aviz Networks, said, “This partnership with WWT marks a major step in bringing AI-powered network assistance to enterprises in a practical, scalable way. Many of our joint customers work with both WWT and Aviz, and this collaboration ensures they can test and validate AI-driven network solutions firsthand in the Artificial Intelligence Proving Ground Lab before full-scale deployment.” Justin van Schaik, technical solutions architect at WWT added, “With enterprises looking to adopt AI-driven network automation, WWT’s AI Proving Ground Lab is designed to help them explore real-world AI applications before full deployment. Partnering with Aviz allows our joint customers to see AI-powered network assistance in action, helping them optimize network operations with confidence.”
Aviz Networks was founded to develop software solutions that modernize networking for data centers, edge computing, and GPU-based networks, emphasizing vendor-agnostic approaches that aim to provide enterprises with flexible hardware options and cost management. Its investors include Cisco, Qualcomm, and others. WWT, established in 1990, operates as a global technology solutions provider with a broad network of locations and focuses on combining strategy, technology testing, and deployment.
