TE Connectivity ranks among Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2025

Traffic Engineering (TE) Connectivity has been named among the Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators, reflecting its longstanding focus on innovation.

This recognition marks the 12th time TE has received this distinction since its inception in 2012. The company has secured over 15,000 patents granted or pending and invested more than $750 million in research, development, and engineering in the past fiscal year.

In its recently published Industrial Technology Index, TE Connectivity shared insights into how global companies address significant innovation challenges.

CEO Terrence Curtin stated, “We have a culture at TE that encourages our 9,000 global engineers to consistently bring new ideas to help us be an even stronger partner to our customers.” He noted that customer partnerships are a core element of their innovative approach.

The Top 100 Global Innovators rankings are produced by the Clarivate Center for IP and Innovation Research, utilizing research methods that assess the influence and success of inventions.

Gordon Samson, president of intellectual property at Clarivate, highlighted the growing competition in innovation, stating the importance of targeting innovation in technology deployment and knowledge diffusion.
