Sophos Enhances Security Operations Portfolio with ITDR and Advisory Services

Sophos announced enhancements to its Security Operations (SecOps) portfolio on October 21, 2025, following the acquisition of Secureworks earlier in the year for $859 million. The updates, which serve over 75,000 organizations worldwide, include the introduction of Sophos Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) and various advisory services.

These advancements unify technologies and expertise from both Sophos and Secureworks, focusing on identity protection and the detection of threats. Sophos ITDR aims to provide faster visibility into identity risks and better defenses against identity-based attacks, which represent a growing threat for many organizations.

Additional expansions feature integration of the Counter Threat Unit into Sophos X-Ops, enhancing threat intelligence capabilities. Sophos also updated its Endpoint Security portfolio, making it simpler for organizations to access enterprise-grade protection and improving integrations with third-party technologies.

Raja Patel, Chief Product Officer of Sophos, emphasized the goal of supporting organizations through their cybersecurity journey, enhancing defenses integrated with human expertise. Over 223 terabytes of telemetry are processed daily within Sophos Central, producing millions of detections to improve security outcomes globally.
