Silicom Ltd. expands Edge deployment, raises projected annual revenue

Silicom Ltd. said a global networking and security-as-a-service customer expanded its deployment of Silicom Edge systems, and that change increased the projected annual revenue from that customer from $3–4 million to $8–10 million.

The company said the customer had awarded an initial Edge device Design Win in December 2024 and was relying on Silicom as its sole Edge Networking hardware provider; Silicom also stated that some of the additional revenue was expected to be realized in 2026.

Silicom described its offerings as high-performance networking and data infrastructure solutions designed to improve performance and efficiency in Cloud and Data Center environments, increase throughput, decrease latency and boost the performance of servers and networking appliances, and said its portfolio included high-density networking, high-speed fabric switching, offloading and acceleration that used a range of silicon technologies and FPGA-based solutions and that its products were supplied as add-on adapters and as stand-alone virtualized/universal Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) devices at the edge.

The company reported that the initial Design Win from December 2024 had been followed by a decision from the customer to implement Silicom Edge systems in multiple additional use cases, a change that raised the companies' projected annual receipts from that customer to $8–10 million per year.

“This is another concrete demonstration of the revenue-generating value of our trusted-supplier relationships with blue-chip IT industry leaders,” said Liron Eizenman. “In fact, customers often return to us with follow-up Design Wins, leveraging the products they already use in additional use cases while also looking to us for more solutions. This gives us a solid, predictable platform of recurring revenues, a significant, stable baseline from which we will continue to grow in the future – both by ramping up existing Design Wins and by securing new clients and design wins. We are following this strategy with the goal of achieving strong, continuous growth in the years ahead.”

The press release included forward-looking statements that were not historical and involved known and unknown risks, uncertainties, or other factors not under the company's control, which the company said could cause actual results, performance, or achievements to be materially different from expectations.
