Siemens Healthineers took part in Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2026 in Bangkok to describe how AI, data, and digital technologies were used alongside clinical and operational considerations. The company used the event to focus on connected care pathways and related regional work across ASEAN.

In its exhibition and conference presence, Siemens Healthineers discussed moving from standalone technologies toward connected models of care. The company described themes that included scaling AI adoption, redesigning care pathways around patients, and using data to support personalized healthcare.

At HMA 2026, Siemens Healthineers also described session topics for the second ASEAN CEO Summit held on September 1. The company said sessions would cover AI implementations for clinical decision-making, hospital operations, workforce productivity, and clinical outcomes, and would address predictive analytics, population health management, and precision medicine.

Separately, Siemens Healthineers said it marked the formation of the ASEAN Stroke Advisory Board through a media roundtable on September 2, with stroke experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The company said it would unveil a regional report, “Strengthening Stroke System Readiness Across ASEAN,” and referenced Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU-8) work involving Siriraj Stroke Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Siemens Healthineers and RMA Automotive. “Healthcare systems across ASEAN are navigating rising demand, workforce constraints and increasingly complex patient needs, while advances in AI, data and digital technology are creating new possibilities for how care can be delivered,” said Fabrice Leguet, Managing Director ASEAN and Head of Enterprise Services Asia Pacific & Japan, Siemens Healthineers. “The opportunity is not simply to introduce more technology, but to bring innovation, clinical expertise and healthcare strategy together in ways that make care more accessible, efficient and patient-centered.”
