Semperis centers documentary at RSAC keynote

Semperis said its documentary Midnight in the War Room would serve as the central focus of a keynote at the RSAC 2026 Conference, taking an unvarnished look at the human stakes of cyber war.

Panelists planned to react to scenes from the film and to share firsthand accounts from the digital front lines; the session examined how cyber defense had become a relentless, always-on responsibility and how that condition shaped national security, economic stability, and the future of the global workforce.

Semperis is an identity-driven cyber resilience and crisis management company purpose-built for multi-cloud and hybrid identity environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta. Its AI-powered platform unifies identity lifecycle defense and crisis management and helps organizations prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from identity-based cyberattacks, supported by identity forensics and an incident response team.

The keynote, titled “The Evolution of Cyber War: Inside the Making of Midnight in the War Room,” was scheduled for Thursday, March 26, and the panel included Jen Easterly, CEO, RSAC; Chris Inglis, the first U.S. National Cyber Director; Sarah Gosler, Head of Cyber Resiliency and Human Defense, Wells Fargo; and Chase Cunningham, Chief Strategy Officer & Founder, Demo-Force. The conversation planned to address whether the threat landscape reflected a modern cyber cold war, the grooming of young people into cybercrime, and psychological forces that shaped decision-making, and it called on public- and private-sector leaders to redirect emerging talent toward strengthening global cyber resilience.

“As cyber threats grow more complex and more personal, we must broaden the conversation beyond tools to include the individuals carrying this responsibility every day,” said Jen Easterly, CEO, RSAC. “This film is a powerful reminder that cybersecurity is ultimately about protecting society, and RSAC Conference provides an ideal forum to bring that message to the global security community.”

The keynote was scheduled for March 26, and the film was scheduled to make its world premiere at Black Hat on August 5, 2026.
