SEALSQ updates QASIC roadmap with IC’Alps toward 2026 prototype

SEALSQ Corp updated its development work on QASIC, a quantum-resistant application-specific integrated circuit initiative built through its subsidiary IC’Alps. The company said the effort focuses on embedding post-quantum security into semiconductor designs that customers own, with an initial prototype planned for 2026.
SEALSQ positioned QASIC for use cases that require long-term protection against emerging cyber and quantum-computing threats and also call for regulatory compliance. The company stated that its priority applications include cybersecurity, medical and healthcare, and automotive systems, along with additional target applications such as defense and aerospace systems.
QASIC was described as combining SEALSQ’s post-quantum cryptography and secure-semiconductor technologies with IC’Alps capabilities in analog, digital and mixed-signal ASIC design. SEALSQ said the approach is intended to support security features integrated into specialized customer-owned semiconductor architectures and to cover needs ranging from secure communications to secure over-the-air software updates.
SEALSQ said it is advancing the integrated QASIC roadmap toward a first prototype in 2026.
