SAIC Launches ReadyOne™ Foundational for Digital Engineering Solutions
Science Applications International Corp. has launched ReadyOne™ Foundational, a cloud-based digital engineering ecosystem tailored to meet the Department of Defense's requirements. This solution is now listed on the AWS Marketplace, aimed at expediting deployment and ensuring government clients avoid unnecessary development of existing capabilities.
ReadyOne™ Foundational integrates various data, tools, and teams through a configurable solution, promoting best practices in digital engineering from the outset. It provides a cloud environment pre-loaded with essential data models and software tools, which is intended to enhance mission effectiveness and reduce lifecycle costs.
“As threats to national security continue advancing and evolving, digital engineering is no longer optional for our Department of Defense customers and their mission-critical programs,” said Chris Finlay, Vice President of Innovation at SAIC. “ReadyOne™ Foundational accelerates the transition from traditional, document-based engineering methods to model-based techniques with digitally connected data for a complete digital engineering system for transparent, secure collaboration.”
The platform employs a tool-agnostic digital thread architecture, minimizing vendor lock-in, and offers flexibility compared to conventional product lifecycle management and digital thread solutions. Organizations can host ReadyOne™ Foundational in their own cloud settings, allowing for cloud-to-cloud or on-premises (on-prem) delivery.
