Ribbon Communications partners with Intech Online on network expansion

Ribbon Communications partnered with Intech Online Private Limited to enhance network infrastructure in India, addressing rising customer demand for secure, high-speed internet. The initiative included collaboration with Saima Technologies LLP and capitalized on Ribbon's Intelligent Network Controller (INC) technology.

Amol Nalawade, Managing Director at Intech Online, remarked on the deployment, stating, “This deployment marks a significant milestone in our mission to deliver next-generation internet services to our expanding customer base.” Following extensive evaluation, Nalawade noted that Ribbon’s solution provided the necessary scalability and features aligned with their objectives.

The NPT 2100 router was highlighted as a compact, high-performance Internet Protocol (IP) aggregation device that supports Intech Online's service expansion, ensuring a secure and resilient network infrastructure for residential and enterprise customers. Sajeet Shivashankaran, SVP of Ribbon India, noted the role of ISPs like Intech Online in India's digital development, emphasizing the importance of their collaboration in improving connectivity within the country.

India's data consumption is accelerating, driven by mobile broadband expansion, 5G deployments, and government efforts to enhance digital literacy, indicating a need for advanced infrastructure to support the growing digital ecosystem.
