More About YouSee
YouSee operates as a brand within TDC Group, providing retail telecommunications and entertainment services in Denmark to both private households and business users. Its portfolio spans fixed broadband, mobile connectivity, TV and streaming, and telephony, positioning the company in categories such as network connectivity, media distribution, and converged communication services. For enterprise and institutional stakeholders, YouSee sits on top of infrastructure operated by TDC Group, which includes national fixed and mobile networks used for data, voice, and video services.
On the fixed side, YouSee provides broadband access over technologies such as fiber and cable, depending on local infrastructure and TDC Group’s network footprint (network connectivity). These access services interface with IP-based core networks that handle routing, traffic management, and interconnection to the global internet. For corporate and institutional environments, these broadband connections may be used for site connectivity, remote work access, cloud application access, and as underlay transport for VPNs or Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solutions delivered either by TDC Group or other providers.
YouSee’s mobile offerings run on TDC Group’s national mobile network (mobile connectivity). This network uses standard cellular technologies and protocols commonly deployed in Europe, such as LTE/4G and, where available, 5G 5G New Radio (NR), along with legacy 2G/3G where still in operation. For enterprise customers, these mobile services support voice, messaging, and data for employees, machine-to-machine connectivity, and mobile access to corporate applications. Mobile subscriptions can be integrated into corporate contracts, enabling centralized management of SIMs, data plans, and cost control.
In the media domain, YouSee provides TV and streaming packages combining linear channel lineups with on-demand and app-based services (media distribution). These offerings typically rely on IP-based distribution over broadband connections and set-top boxes or apps for smart devices. For multi-dwelling units, landlords, housing associations, and campus-like environments, YouSee packages can be integrated as bulk TV and internet agreements, feeding into in-building coax or Ethernet networks and forming part of property-level digital service portfolios.
YouSee also offers fixed-line telephony, now usually implemented over IP-based voice platforms (voice services). These services can be used by small offices, home offices, and consumers that require traditional phone numbers, often bundled with broadband. Voice services rely on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) or similar Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) protocols in the core network, with analog telephone adapters or IP-capable equipment at the customer premises.
Across these domains, YouSee functions as the customer-facing entity for parts of TDC Group’s infrastructure, particularly for consumers and small to midsize businesses. In an enterprise technology directory, YouSee can be categorized under broadband internet access (network connectivity), mobile telephony and data (mobile connectivity), TV and streaming (media distribution), and bundled “triple-play” or “quad-play” packages (converged services). Its offerings are typically evaluated by architects and procurement teams as national last-mile and service-layer options within Denmark, integrated alongside Wide Area Network (WAN), cloud, and collaboration solutions from other vendors.
