More About Tower Bersama Group
Tower Bersama Group operates as a telecommunications infrastructure company that focuses on shared passive infrastructure, primarily ground-based towers and rooftop structures used by MNOs and other wireless service providers. Its portfolio is structured to support the deployment of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment from multiple tenants on a single physical asset, aligning with infrastructure sharing models used in many mobile markets.
The group’s core service is collocation, where several operators lease space on the same tower or structure. This arrangement reduces the need for each operator to build and maintain separate sites. From an enterprise architecture perspective, Tower Bersama Group’s assets System Integration Testing (SIT) in the physical layer of the network stack, supporting radio access nodes such as macro cells and, where applicable, small cells mounted on towers or rooftops. Tenants typically install base transceiver stations, antennas, remote radio units, and transmission equipment on or near these structures, while Tower Bersama Group provides the underlying site, tower, and ancillary facilities.
In addition to the vertical steel or concrete structures themselves, the company’s offerings generally encompass passive infrastructure elements such as site acquisition, land or rooftop leases, access roads where applicable, fencing, equipment shelters or cabinets, cable trays, grounding, and lighting. Power systems, including grid connections, backup generators, and battery systems, are common components of tower infrastructure arrangements, although the exact configuration depends on contracts with tenants and local conditions.
From a technology and protocol standpoint, Tower Bersama Group’s infrastructure is agnostic to specific mobile generations and can host equipment for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G radio access technologies, as well as microwave or fiber backhaul termination equipment. The towers provide the elevation and structural loading capacity required for antennas that operate across multiple frequency bands defined by global and regional standards bodies. This flexibility allows operators to upgrade or swap active equipment over time without requiring fundamental changes to the underlying tower asset.
In the context of enterprise and institutional connectivity projects, Tower Bersama Group’s sites can support coverage and capacity for public mobile networks that serve corporate campuses, industrial sites, and public-sector facilities. For network planners and infrastructure leaders, the company fits into the category of independent tower companies and passive infrastructure providers, distinct from active network vendors or core network service providers. Its business model is generally based on long-term lease contracts, indexed fee structures, and multitenant occupancy to maximize utilization of each tower asset.
Within a technology and services directory, Tower Bersama Group aligns with categories such as telecommunications tower infrastructure, passive network infrastructure services, network access facility providers, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for mobile and wireless networks. Its role is to deliver the physical foundation on which mobile operators and other wireless tenants deploy radio, transmission, and related active equipment, enabling network coverage without each tenant needing to undertake separate civil works and site builds.
