RCN Technologies and Carahsoft Announce Partnership for 5G and Long Term Evolution (LTE) Solutions to Public Sector

RCN Technologies, a provider of secure 5G and LTE connectivity solutions, partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp. to distribute its all-in-one connectivity solutions tailored for the Public Sector. This collaboration aims to enhance secure wireless communication for government agencies through Carahsoft’s reseller network and various government contracts.

Scott Swisher, Senior Director of Distribution at RCN Technologies, emphasized that Carahsoft’s expertise in Government IT procurement positions them to expand RCN’s reach effectively. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) noted that this partnership is intended to provide secure connectivity solutions that support agencies in maintaining mission readiness across different operational environments.

RCN Technologies offers a portable Pop-Up Network Kit (PNK), designed for emergency response and remote operations without requiring on-site IT support. The portable solution complies with government cybersecurity mandates and is crucial for quick deployments in various scenarios.

Key attributes of RCN’s offerings include rapid setup, ruggedized protection for extreme conditions, compliance with public sector cybersecurity standards, and customization to meet the unique requirements of differing government departments. Mark Demerse, Program Executive for 5G Solutions at Carahsoft, noted the addition of RCN’s solutions to their portfolio strengthens the capacity of public agencies to achieve operational efficiency.
