Rapid7 updates 2026 PACT Partner Program to support MDR growth

Rapid7 updated its PACT Partner Program for 2026 to support growth in partner-led Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. The changes introduce new partner tiers, simplified deal structures, and revised program economics intended to facilitate collaboration between Rapid7 and its partners.

The revised program reflects an operational approach centered on aligning Rapid7's efforts with its partner ecosystem. This includes shared engagement models and clarified economic terms designed to foster predictable results and streamline customer interactions.

The program features a new Platinum Partner Tier, recognizing partners with consistent performance and engagement. Deal motions have been reorganized into two categories: Deal Registration for partner-originated opportunities and Co-Sell for Rapid7-sourced opportunities. Additionally, the program offers enhanced economics for partner-sourced deals and introduces a Tech Champion Program focused on enabling partner sales engineers with early access to product roadmaps and technical collaboration.

As part of the rollout, Rapid7 has positioned these updates to reinforce a channel ecosystem marked by simplicity and accountability. The company identified Saepio as one of its initial platinum partners, with Paul Mullen, cybersecurity vendor manager at Saepio, stating, “Being recognized as a Rapid7 Platinum Partner is a milestone that reflects the strength of our partnership over the past 8-plus years. Our relationship with Rapid7 has always been built on more than business performance. It is grounded in a strong cultural alignment, a shared strategic direction, and mutual ambitions for continued growth.”

Suzanne Swanson, vice president of global channel partnerships at Rapid7, said, “Partners are central to how we go to market. Our focus is on building tight alignment across engagement models, economics, and execution so partners can grow with us and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers. The 2026 PACT updates make it simpler and more predictable for partners to build and scale their security practices with Rapid7.”

The program updates address operational details related to partner engagement and economic incentives, aiming to create more predictable margins and reduce ambiguity in deal execution for MDR and related recurring services. Rapid7 described these efforts as part of ongoing channel ecosystem development.
