Rapid7 introduces AI-generated risk intelligence features

Rapid7, Intelligent Network Controller (INC). introduced AI-generated risk intelligence and enhanced vulnerability intelligence features as part of its Rapid7 Command Platform. These capabilities aim to assist security teams in prioritizing and accelerating remediation efforts. The developments provide security personnel with contextual insights that facilitate improved decision-making regarding vulnerabilities.

According to Forrester, 22% of security decision-makers reported a lack of comprehensive remediation prioritization strategy as a significant challenge. Rapid7's new features address this gap by offering actionable views of vulnerabilities, which help organizations identify what requires immediate attention based on exploitability and asset importance.

Craig Adams, chief product officer at Rapid7, emphasized the need for timely insights, stating, “Organizations rely on their security partners to give them the context they need to prioritize.” The new features within the Remediation Hub and Intelligence Hub are set to enhance the efficiency of security teams by embedding AI-driven context into risk summaries and vulnerability assessments, starting their rollout in late November.
