QuintessenceLabs introduced TSF® Sentry Cryptographic Asset Management and a Post Quantum Cryptography readiness assessment at Quantum World Congress on Sept. 23, 2026. The company positioned the update as a way to connect cryptographic visibility to remediation planning for post-quantum cryptography.

The release said the new capabilities address a gap between identifying cryptographic exposure and taking action. It described the TSF Sentry and the PQC Readiness Assessment as components intended to support organizations as they prepare to transition to post-quantum cryptography without relying on a single technology replacement exercise.

TSF Sentry was described as providing continuous cryptographic visibility across an enterprise by identifying where cryptography is being used, assessing risk, and linking cryptographic findings to the applications and systems that need remediation. The release said it exposes an API to integrate remediation workflows into enterprise automation frameworks and relates cryptographic findings to the applications performing cryptographic operations.

QuintessenceLabs said the PQC Readiness Assessment offers a structured, risk-based blueprint for prioritizing a transition to post-quantum cryptography. It said the assessment evaluates current cryptographic posture, identifies priorities based on business and security risk, and develops a practical roadmap aligned with existing infrastructure, applications, data protection requirements, and organizational objectives. “Organisations cannot effectively plan their transition to post-quantum cryptography if they do not first understand where and how cryptography is being used across their environments,” said Andreas Baumhof, Chief Technology Officer at QuintessenceLabs. “But knowing where you don't make you quantum-safe – it just shows your vulnerabilities. TSF Sentry solves this by turning passive visibility into automated remediation. It doesn't just find the problems; it actively fixes them, giving security leaders a clear path to action. Combined with our PQC Readiness Assessment, this gives security leaders a clearer path from cryptographic visibility to action.” “PQC readiness is ultimately about making informed decisions about where to start, what needs to change, and how to manage that change without disrupting the business,” added Baumhof. “Our approach is designed to help organisations build crypto agility and address the highest-priority risks first, while working within their existing technology environments.”
