OPSWAT Opens New U.S. Production Facility in Tampa to Strengthen Domestic Cybersecurity Supply Chain

OPSWAT, a provider of cybersecurity solutions, opened a production facility in Tampa, Florida, focusing on domestic manufacturing. This facility aims to enhance supply chain integrity and ensure compliance with U.S. and international security standards. The onshoring of hardware production is part of OPSWAT's strategy to deliver quality products to government and enterprise customers.

The expansion aligns with OPSWAT's vision of “Locally Built – Globally Trusted.” This vision emphasizes that secure products begin with secure manufacturing practices. By relocating manufacturing to the U.S., OPSWAT addresses several risks associated with offshore production, including hardware tampering, geopolitical issues, and operational challenges.

CEO Benny Czarny stated, “Cybersecurity hardware is too important to outsource. By building it here in the U.S., we ensure the transparency, quality, and supply chain resilience our customers expect.” The new facility supports OPSWAT's ability to control product quality and improve response times to customer needs and cybersecurity threats. As part of a growing technology hub, the Tampa site will also serve as a logistics center to meet increasing demand across critical sectors such as defense and finance.
