Netskope and BT International have expanded their partnership, giving organizations a way to connect to Netskope’s Security Service Edge services over improved network paths.
Network traffic patterns are changing quickly as organizations adopt AI at scale. A growing number of users, AI agents, applications, and devices require more bandwidth, lower latency, and access to multiple clouds from more locations. These demands are pushing traditional network and security architectures beyond their limits.
Under the expanded arrangement, customers can route traffic into Netskope One SSE services over selected predictable, high-performance paths. These paths rely on the cloud-centric architecture of Global Fabric and on points of presence located around the world. Those points of presence use direct IXP peering to connect to the Netskope One platform. The arrangement is described as improving application responsiveness and user experience.
The stated benefits for customers include optimized, low-latency routing between users and AI agents through IXP peering between the Netskope One platform and Global Fabric, consistent security policy enforcement for users worldwide, and faster, safer scaling of agentic AI and cloud application adoption with real-time, context-based protection. A single BT-managed SASE experience combines Netskope’s SSE with Global Fabric connectivity, with improved resilience and path diversity.
The partnership builds on Netskope’s fifth consecutive year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Service Edge. The SSE integration is one of several now available through Global Fabric. “Netskope is a strategic partner in helping us deliver the AI-ready digital foundations our customers need,” said Matt Swinden, managing director, strategy & product, BT International.
“AI is rapidly changing what organizations need from their security architecture,” said Parag Thakore, Chief Product Officer, SASE, Netskope. The companies described plans to help organizations roll out and scale AI agents, cloud applications, and autonomous digital workflows securely.
