Lightpath received perfect GRESB score and 5-Star Rating

Lightpath received a perfect score of 100 and a 5-Star Rating on the 2025 GRESB Infrastructure Asset Benchmark Report, a result that ranked the company first among participating private data transmission companies in the fiber networks sector in the Americas and placed it within the top 20% of all participants.

The GRESB results assigned Lightpath two designations: Infrastructure Asset Super Class Leader and Sector Leader 6 Data Infrastructure. The company held a 5-Star Rating in the prior 2024 GRESB Report, when it recorded a score of 97.

GRESB applied its assessment framework to measure environmental, social, and governance management and performance of real assets and portfolios using self-reported data and peer benchmarking, and aligned its criteria with the Global Reporting Initiative and the Principles for Responsible Investment. Lightpath is an all-fiber, infrastructure-based connectivity provider, and its fiber-optic network offered a portfolio of custom-engineered connectivity solutions.

The 2025 benchmark report results and the sector leader designation reflected the evaluative work GRESB carried out that year across infrastructure assets worldwide, with the Sector Leader recognition given to entities with top scores or within one point of the top performer.

“Achieving a perfect GRESB score and earning the sector-leading recognition underscore the priority our Board and leadership team place on advancing robust sustainability objectives,” said Amy Rowe, Director of Legal Operations and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) at Lightpath. “We are deeply committed to embedding these principles into the core of our strategy and decision-making, ensuring sustainability and responsible growth guide our path forward. Our internal teams working toward ESG goals are instrumental in driving this progress and setting a new benchmark for our industry.”
