Kandji rebrands to Iru, launching AI-focused IT security platform
Kandji rebranded as Iru, an AI-powered IT and security platform designed for modern enterprise needs. The platform integrates identity and access management, endpoint security, and compliance automation into a unified set of tools, which aims to reduce complexity for IT and security teams.
The creation of Iru was motivated by feedback indicating that many teams face challenges due to overlapping and uncoordinated tools, which fragment workflows and hinder efficiency. The platform introduces the Iru Context Model, which builds a comprehensive context around users, apps, devices, and policies to streamline operations.
Adam Pettit, CEO of Iru, stated, “The stack is the problem. With Iru, we collapse the stack and give IT and security teams time and control back.” Homomorphic Encryption (HE) emphasized that the integration of key functionalities aims to accelerate operational efficiency, enabling teams to focus on core security functions without excessive tool management.
The Iru platform is made up of six integrated products, including Workforce Identity for credential management, Endpoint Management for streamlined device onboarding, and Compliance Automation that prepares organizations for regulatory audits. The new offering is available now to both new and existing customers, with comprehensive migration support provided for transitions from legacy systems.
