Highway and Bluewire Offer Bluewire Broker Package in Carrier Identity Platform

Highway and Bluewire outlined an exclusive reseller partnership that delivers Bluewire carrier risk intelligence through Highway’s Carrier Identity platform for freight brokers. The arrangement centers on reports for carrier vetting and ongoing risk-related workflows.

Highway described the package as a way for brokers to access multiple report types within the Highway platform, with the reports translating carrier data into structured intelligence used for onboarding, qualification, network monitoring, and fraud detection. Bluewire described its platform as converting transportation, safety, compliance, insurance, and operational data into standardized carrier risk intelligence.

The Bluewire Broker Package includes three report types: Severity Risk Snapshot for evaluating a single carrier before onboarding or tendering; the Benchmark Report for analyzing carrier network health and monitoring risk trends over time; and the Risk Intelligence Report for supporting pre-qualification, prospecting, and fraud detection workflows. The Risk Intelligence Report includes indicators tied to identity fraud, re-registration schemes, and false credentialing.

Highway users can access the Bluewire Broker Package directly in the Highway platform as part of the launch. Michael Caney, Chief Commercial Officer at Highway, said, “The market does not need more disconnected point solutions,” and added, “Highway establishes the identity layer. Bluewire adds additional carrier risk visibility. Together, we are helping brokers make carrier qualification more consistent, more informed, and more defensible.” Steve Bryan, CEO of Bluewire, said, “By partnering with Highway, we are making those insights available through a platform brokers already trust to support carrier qualification, compliance, and operational decision-making.”

Highway said the package used Bluewire’s proprietary GAP Score and relied on more than 652,000 carrier evaluations, 47 consecutive monthly releases, and nine severity score categories.
