Harmonic showcases fiber broadband solutions at Network X 2025
Harmonic showcased its fiber broadband technologies at Network X 2025 in Paris from October 14 to 16. The company's offerings, which include the cOS™ broadband platform and the SeaStar™ optical node, focus on enhancing the speed and efficiency of fiber deployments for operators across the EMEA region.
As fiber rollouts gain pace in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), operators seek trusted solutions for efficient and reliable service. Stefan Meier, vice president of broadband sales in EMEA, noted that Harmonic is committed to delivering interoperability in fiber solutions, as highlighted in the company's recent collaboration with neu-medianet in Germany.
The SeaStar optical node targets multi-dwelling units (MDUs) with a cost-effective pathway to fiber-grade broadband without the need for rewiring, while the cOS broadband platform provides a future-ready strategy adapting to evolving network needs. Harmonic's Open ONT approach allows operators greater flexibility in choosing Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) that aligns with their requirements.
Harmonic's cOS platform has been deployed globally, powering broadband services for major operators with over 35 million customer premises devices in circulation. The company continues to enhance its technology to support the increasing demand for high-speed fiber connections.
