GSMA MWC25 Las Vegas explores enterprise networking and mobile technology impacts on North America's economy

Experts congregated at the GSMA MWC25 Las Vegas, held on October 14-15, 2025, to discuss the future of enterprise networks, focusing on 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent infrastructure, and satellite technologies. The event took place at Fountainebleau Las Vegas and attracted CIOs, mobile operators, hyperscalers, and technology innovators to shape a connected economy projected to reach $3.7 trillion by 2030.

Attendees engaged in discussions across three stages, exploring how these technologies will facilitate the next phase of digital transformation. The agenda featured curated keynotes, including the CTIA's Everything Policy Program, and five conference summits featuring insights from over 80 speakers.

Lara Dewar, GSMA’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed the potential for collaboration in unlocking new possibilities. She stated, “When we connect more businesses and industries, we unlock possibility.... Here’s to connections and discoveries.”

The GSMA Mobile Economy North America 2025 report highlighted several key points: mobile technologies contributed $1.6 trillion to the North American economy in 2024, with a projected growth to $3.7 trillion by 2030; 5G accounted for 55% of connections in 2024 and anticipated to reach 89% by 2030; mobile operators’ capital expenditures are expected to reach $348 billion by 2030.

The conference also hosted the Tech Careers Bootcamp, supported by Verizon, aimed at equipping students and young professionals with career tools in technology and telecommunications.
