GSMA M360 Eurasia to Launch in Tashkent
GSMA M360 Eurasia will debut in Tashkent on 21–22 May 2025, showcasing the region's focus on digital connectivity.
The event, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, will take place at the InterContinental Tashkent. Beeline Uzbekistan, a subsidiary of VEON, will serve as Host Sponsor. The GSMA has announced a lineup of notable speakers for the gathering of policymakers and industry leaders to discuss digital transformation in Eurasia.
Uzbekistan's Minister of Digital Technologies, H.E. Sherzod Shermatov, will open the event. He will be joined by CEOs Kaan Terzioglu of VEON and Andrey Pyatakhin of Beeline Uzbekistan. Vivek Badrinath, recently appointed Director General of the GSMA, will deliver his inaugural keynote address during the event.
Participants can expect sessions covering various topics, including Generative AI (GenAI), 5G technology, and digital expansion strategies. Azercell's CEO, Zarina Zeynalova, will lead discussions on digital growth, while Perfectum's CEO, Dmitry Shukov, will outline the rollout of a 5G Standalone network in Uzbekistan. Qazcode's CEO, Oleksii Sharavar, will address the development of GenAI.
Additional sessions will focus on the significance of data center in enhancing secure networks and explore how evolving network architectures and partnerships are contributing to improved digital access.
