GIGABYTE said it launched a 64GB unified memory version of its AI TOP ATOM desktop AI system. The new configuration adds an additional memory option to an existing 128GB offering and is set to be available starting October 23.
The change centers on how teams can select memory capacity for local model work and data handling while using an on-premises development environment. GIGABYTE described the platform as supporting model inference, prototype development, and data analysis in local office, laboratory, and educational settings.
Hardware design for the 64GB version follows AI TOP ATOM’s existing approach based on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform. GIGABYTE said the system uses NVIDIA ConnectX-7 networking and supports clustering up to four units with NVIDIA Sync for a larger memory pool and compute capability. On the software side, it includes NVIDIA CUDA and GIGABYTE AI TOP Utility for model downloading, inference, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), along with functions to build local knowledge-based question-and-answer applications.
GIGABYTE also said it continued exploring AI TOP ATOM for agentic AI applications through a multi-node scientific computing demonstration that connected NVIDIA Nemotron open models with the NVIDIA NemoClaw open agent blueprint. It described work that pairs research hypothesis generation with simulation workflows. The company said the 64GB version joins the 128GB configuration within the AI TOP ATOM lineup and will be available starting October 23, 2026, with product availability, sales channels, and pricing varying by region.
