Independent analysis from Forrester Consulting indicated that organizations deploying Fortinet Secure Local Area Network (LAN) Edge achieved a 308% return on investment (ROI) and recouped their investment in under six months. The study outlined operational efficiency improvements, including a 50% boost in network operations efficiency and a 60% reduction in the risk of breaches from external attacks.

The analysis, commissioned by Fortinet, highlighted that organizations experienced a reduction in unplanned downtime of 70 hours over three years. By converging wired and wireless networking with security into a single, centrally managed platform, clients reported substantial operational savings totaling $1.3 million.

Nirav Shah, Senior Vice President of Products and Solutions at Fortinet, stated, “This study highlights how organizations can realize business and operational benefits by converging networking and security.” The findings also illustrated a 20% decline in networking and security technology costs, which provided an additional $2.6 million in profit through optimized refresh cycles and reduced reliance on legacy solutions.

Furthermore, the composite organization noted a 75% decrease in network security response time due to enhanced visibility across security and networking components. This improvement valued at $653,000 enabled faster incident resolution for true events, demonstrating the effectiveness of Fortinet's converged platform.

The survey involved interviews with business leaders across various industries who implemented Fortinet Secure LAN Edge solutions, such as FortiSwitch and FortiAP, alongside AI-powered security services. The results showcased the practical benefits of deploying integrated cybersecurity measures within operational frameworks.
