Egen, a Google Cloud Premier Partner, has been chosen as a launch partner for Gemini for government services from Google Cloud, which targets complex public sector workflows.
For federal, state, local, and higher education enterprises, the offering is intended to modernize operations, raise workflow efficiency, and make public services easier to access. Egen has already embedded it in its public sector offerings, including an AI platform for higher education, the Infrastructure Intelligence Accelerator, and the Fraud Intelligence Accelerator.
Egen is implementing Gemini for government services with a range of public sector customers. In one engagement, it is modernizing help desk operations and workflows at a public research university. Elsewhere, it is bringing Gemini to more than 8,000 workers in one state, and building a secure, user-friendly AI platform designed to scale to support 40,000 faculty and researchers across one of the largest public higher education systems in the United States.
Google Cloud has repeatedly selected Egen for co-build initiatives. Egen brings specialized expertise in helping public sector organizations move from proof of concept to production with AI.
“Public sector organizations need trusted partners who can take agentic systems beyond proofs of concept into everyday production,” said Satish Thomas, Vice President, Google Cloud. “Egen brings proven experience and specialized accelerators that empower agencies and educational institutions to modernize operations, elevate user experiences, and realize mission value quickly.”
“Being selected as a launch partner for Gemini for government services validates our team's expertise and dedication to our partnership with Google Cloud,” said Joe Stage, President, Public Sector at Egen. “By co-innovating and co-building with Google Cloud, we empower public sector leaders with a clear, rapid path to unlock measurable value using AI.” Egen will continue integrating Gemini into priority use cases.
