Sify announces Pay-Per-Use colocation pricing for NVIDIA-certified AI data centers across India

Sify Technologies Limited has introduced a Pay-per-use model for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud Services, aiming to meet the growing demand in the sector. This initiative coincides with the expansion of Sify's certified DGX-Ready data center capabilities, which includes facilities in Chennai, Noida, and Navi Mumbai.

The hourly pricing model comprises hosting, power, and infrastructure costs. This approach aims to eliminate the high entry-cost barrier for users and allow rapid deployment of AI solutions by Sify’s Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Cloud partners. Sify's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ecosystem will also provide services such as global connectivity and managed services, initially supporting various NVIDIA platforms.

Sharad Agarwal, CEO of Sify Infinit Spaces Limited, noted that the company’s infrastructure positions it well for quick deployments of AI platforms, allowing colocation partners to introduce the latest NVIDIA GPUs while Sify manages local infrastructure.

Rajiv Ranjan, Associate Research Director at IDC Asia Pacific, mentioned India’s growing significance in the global AI landscape. He emphasized that Sify’s new colocation model, built on NVIDIA-certified platforms, is crucial for overcoming hurdles to AI adoption, enabling enterprises to utilize India's capabilities in a scalable manner.

This development underlines Sify’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings as India seeks a more prominent role in global AI advancements.
