Forcepoint recognized as leader in IDC MarketScape for DLP 2025
Forcepoint has received recognition as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for the Worldwide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) 2025 Vendor Assessment. This acknowledgment highlights Forcepoint's unified, AI-powered data security platform named Data Security Everywhere, which aims to deliver clarity, context, and control across various data channels. The emergence of hybrid environments and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools necessitate urgent measures to secure sensitive information. Forcepoint's Data Security Everywhere framework provides lifecycle protection by ensuring visibility and control over data on endpoints, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, the web, and email. The platform employs AI Mesh, a Network of distributed language models, to identify data risk and adapt controls in real time, applying protections through over 1,700 classifiers tailored to specific business needs. Naveen Palavalli, Chief Product and Marketing Officer of Forcepoint, emphasized the fundamental role of data security in fostering trust in the digital economy. He noted that the rapid expansion of AI applications heightens the need for scalable data protection solutions. Furthermore, Jennifer Glenn, Research Director for IDC’s Security and Trust Group, stated that organizations face an increasing necessity for DLP solutions due to the evolving data landscape and the hybrid workforce. Forcepoint's DLP, recognized in this assessment, offers an extensive range of features that integrate seamlessly with its Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Detection and Response capabilities. Forcepoint plans to demonstrate its full range of data security solutions at the upcoming Runtime Security Agent (RSA) Conference from April 28 to May 1, allowing organizations to explore its technology further.
